Last year, I sat at The Global Leadership Summit and heard Bill Hybels say these words, “Every leader can get better…if they want to.”
That one statement encouraged me. It offered hope. It let me know that things don’t necessarily have to be like they’ve been or even stay the same. Things, especially my leadership, can grow and improve.
Maybe you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m not a leader. I don’t lead anything.” I’d say, nothing could be further than the truth. You, me, everyone leads something. We have the opportunity to lead ourselves, to lead our family, to lead our staff, to lead in our community, to lead in our church. Understanding that is crucial to your success in whatever way you may lead.
So, I offer this invitation to you: Join us at LCBC for The Global Leadership Summit that’s coming up in August. It’s a two-day simulcasted event that literally spans the globe. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from some incredible leaders from the community, from the workplace, from the church – all of which is to encourage you, to challenge you and inspire you to grow as a leader. LCBC has two host sites for the simulcast – at our Manheim Campus or at our Harrisburg Campus.
I hope you’ll join us, and I’m pretty confident that the people who you lead are hoping you’ll join us too. Because when you invest in your leadership, everyone wins!
